Scale Reduction Cartridge Set

FreshWater's Diamond ceramic cartridge removes 99.99% of all particles larger than one micron including dirt, rust, sediment, bacteria and parasites. In addition, the Diamond improves taste and odour, removes chlorine and dissolved heavy metals, such as cadmium, lead and mercury.   

What does 'Crystal' do?
The FreshWater 'Crystal' water filter cartridge contains the very latest polymer selective ion exchange resin (Dealk). This removes ‘temporary’ hardness – the cause of scale in your kettle and scum on the surface of tea, coffee and other hot drinks – and additionally, heavy metals including lead, cadmium and mercury. The ‘permanent’ hardness (calcium) remains, keeping the water tasting fresh and with the associated health benefits intact.

We recommend that this cartridge combination is replaced 6 monthly. However, it is important to note that it is not possible to be specific regarding the life of this cartridge combination as far as scale reduction is concerned. More frequent changes may be necessary depending on the hardness of the water and the amount used.
