FreshWater's electronic water conditioner is so easy to use - and it lets you say goodbye to limescale, furred pipework, boilers and scaled elements. Our conditioner is suitable for use with all pipework sizes and diameters. No plumbing is required and with running costs totalling less than £0.90 a year, you can be sure of energy efficiency, too! How does the conditioner work? FreshWater's conditioner simply clips on to pipework and works by inducing electric fields into the water supply. These fields propagate through the water into the entire plumbing system. When the water is heated, the resulting precipitate that is usually deposited onto hot surfaces such as elements, forms in suspension and instead develops as a crystal on the nuclei, which is then washed away in the water flow. Which model do I need? FreshWater recommends that an 'HS-34' conditioner is used on older pipework, whilst the 'HS-38' conditioner is suitable for new pipework.
