What about Pre-Filters?

FreshWater pre-filters are typically used as a 'stage' in a multi-filtration process.  FreshWater pre-filters are ideally suited for a wide range of products and processes where absolute filtration is not required.  Our pre-filters are compatible with most industrial metal housings using the 'double open ended' sealing arrangement, as well as standard polypropylene, PVC and polycarbonate housings.

Tell me More about Carbon Block...

Carbon is used in water treatment to remove chemicals and sediment. The most sophisticated carbon block cartridges also remove heavy metals such as aluminium and lead.  The chemical reduction capacity of carbon block can be up to 20 times that of a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) cartridge of similar dimensions.  The comparative performance test on chlorine reduction between the 3 pore size variations of carbon block and Granular Activated Carbon clearly reveals which is the more preferable media.

What does my Cartridge's Code Mean?

Make sense of cartridge codes with FreshWater's quick guide.  The first letter(s) of a code e.g. N-25-SM indicates what the cartridge's specialist function is.  The length of a cartridge is denoted by the number between the hyphens in a code e.g. N-25-SM.  The last letter(s) of a cartridge's code indicates its mount type, e.g. N-25-SM.
