Doulton Super Sterasyl® equivalent - Long Mount

The FreshWater S-12-LM water filter cartridge is a direct replacement for the Doulton Sterasyl® 12" Long Mount water filter cartridge for use in Gravity Filters. Our Doulton Sterasyl® equivalent cartridge is manufactured by FreshWater in the UK and delivered direct to you from our Kings Lynn factory.   

The FreshWater equivalent for the long mount Doulton Sterasyl® water filter cartridge employs an outer shell of self-sterilising porous ceramic section which will filter 99.99% of particles above one micron in size, including dirt, rust, sediment, harmful bacteria, parasites and cysts. Contained inside the ceramic shell is a quantuity of granular activated carbon (GAC) which is effective against chlorine and organic pollutants such as agricultural pesticides and herbicides.

This Doulton Sterasyl® equivalent water filter cartridge is one of the cartridge configurations widely used in gravity filters for domestic purposes - 2nd homes and home offices - and emergency situations such as local flooding. This water filter cartridge is also used by aid agencies worldwide in poorer countries and in disaster recovery situations, to provide a cost effective and convenient supply of safe drinking water.
