Doulton Sterasyl� Equivalent - Long Mount

The FreshWater S-12-LM water filter cartridge is a direct replacement for the Doulton Sterasyl® 12" Long Mount water filter cartridge. Our Doulton Sterasyl® equivalent cartridge is manufactured by FreshWater in the UK and delivered direct to you from our Kings Lynn factory. 

The FreshWater equivalent for the long mount Doulton Sterasyl® water filter cartridge employs a self-sterilising porous ceramic section in its construction. This water filter cartridge is designed to filter 99.99% of particles above one micron in size, including dirt, rust, sediment, harmful bacteria, parasites and cysts.

This water filter cartridge is commonly used in a traditional 'Gravity Water Filter unit.  It is a simple and reliable method for filtering potentially unsafe naturally occuring water supplies to render the water microbiologically safe and fit for human consumption.  Due to the fact that this method of water filtration is also relatively low capital cost, portable and cost effective, it is employed by aid agencies worldwide.
