Cartridge Reminder Service
When
you have one of our filter systems we will automatically send you
a reminder when your filter cartridge needs replacing. In the case of
the MS1F, for instance, this will be in 6 months for a family of 4,
nine months for two people and 12 months for individuals.
Cartridge Key-
unfog the mysterious world of water purification!
The
world of water filtration can be complicated. With so many letters and
symbols flying about, sometimes even we the experts can get confused!
Our simple key should help to explain what the letters and numbers
mean. Use it as a guide to finding the right cartridge for your needs.
Still

Our ceramic filter candles can be filled with a
variety of media for
more advanced or specialised contaminant removal. The natural
diatomaceous earth ceramic of the cartridge's outer structure can be
brushed clean over and over again, to prolong the period before the
filter needs replacement.

Prefilters
Use a Fresh Water Filter prefilter for
multi-stage filtration and to extend the life of your main purification
system.FWF Prefilters are ideally
suited for a wide range of products and processes where absolute
filtration is not required.
FWF Prefilter elements will
fit most industrial metal housings using the double open ended sealing
arrangement, as well as standard polypropylene, PVC and polycarbonate
housings.

Carbon
Block Cartridges
Carbon is used in water treatment for
its
chemical and sediment removal capability. The most sophisticated carbon
block cartridges also remove heavy metals such as aluminium and
lead.Compare the chemical removal performance of our Activated Carbon
Block Cartridges with
Traditional Granular Activated Carbon!
The chemical reduction capacity of Carbon Block
can be
up to 20 times that of a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) cartridge of
similar
dimensions. Look at the comparative performance test on chlorine
reduction between the 3 pore size variations of Carbon Block and
Granular Activated Carbon - the difference is clear!
The three different grades give nominal filtration
sizes of 1, 5 and 10 micron.
Choose your pore size depending on the pressure drop required and the
contaminants (suspended solids and chemical) in the feed water. The
Opal now incorporates
an additional medium to extend the performance of Carbon Block
filtration, so it now removes
lead and hydrogen sulphide.
